Eve SellerOps

EVE vs SellerAmp: which sourcing tool fits?

SellerAmp checks products one at a time, in a shop or online, from £13.95 + VAT a month. EVE prices a whole supplier list at once on its £99 STARTER plan, and its FREE plan covers profit analytics and limited active SKUs of repricing.

Scout Updated Eve SellerOps

The short answer

SellerAmp SAS checks one product at a time: scan a barcode in a shop or open a product online, and it shows profit, ROI, sales history and eligibility. It costs £13.95 to £34.95 a month + VAT, after a 14-day free trial. There is no free plan.

EVE sources in bulk. Its Scout tool prices every line of a supplier list at once, then turns your picks into an FBA shipment. Scout is on the STARTER plan at £99 a month + VAT. EVE's FREE plan does not include Scout, but it gives profit analytics and repricing for a limited number of active SKUs, with no card and no time limit.

Choose SellerAmp for retail and online arbitrage. Choose EVE for wholesale lists, or if you also want repricing, profit and shipments in one account. Many arbitrage sellers could use both.

How the sourcing differs

  • One product or a whole list. SellerAmp is built for the decision in front of you: this product, on this shelf or page. EVE's Scout takes a CSV or Excel supplier list, matches every line by barcode and prices it against live offers.
  • Where you use it. SellerAmp has a mobile app, a web app and a Chrome extension, so it works in a shop. EVE runs in the browser and has no scanning app.
  • Research depth. SellerAmp shows price and sales history charts, IP and private label alerts, Buy Box analysis and variations, and has an Advanced Search across 200+ criteria. Scout shows the price, the fees, profit per unit and ROI for every line.
  • What happens next. In EVE, a pick quantity on a Scout line sends it to a Workflow as an FBA shipment, with the listing and SKU created if you do not sell it yet. SellerAmp ends at the decision; you buy and list elsewhere.
  • After you buy. EVE also reprices the stock and shows its profit after Amazon's real fees. SellerAmp is a sourcing tool and does not reprice.

Who each tool suits

SellerAmp suits:

  • Retail arbitrage sellers who scan products in shops.
  • Online arbitrage sellers who check products one page at a time.
  • Sellers in several marketplaces, or teams that share searches.
  • Sellers who want a sourcing tool only, from £13.95 + VAT a month.

EVE suits:

  • Wholesale sellers who receive supplier lists with hundreds or thousands of lines.
  • Amazon UK FBA sellers who want sourcing, shipments, repricing and profit in one account.
  • Sellers who want to start free with profit analytics and repricing, and add Scout later.
